  • I am a DoulaUK recognised post-natal doula. As a post-natal doula I will work with you and your family to give the support that you think would be of benefit to you. There are no set guidelines as every family is different and therefore have very different needs, but some of the ways in which I may help you are breastfeeding and/or formula feeding support, routine new born care such as bathing or nappy changing, look after & occupy older siblings, maybe do school run allowing mum to be with baby or alternatively look after baby so Mum can have quality time with the older children. I am also really good at making a coffee and sitting and listening to whatever concerns or fears you may have as a new mum.

  • About Me:

I have been married to my husband Mark since 1991 and we three children, our son Matthew was born in 1995 and our twin daughters Hannah & Laura were born in 1997. I have been a stay at home mum all the while they were growing up. Before I had the children I worked in finance but knew that I wanted to try something completely new now that they were all becoming more independent. Becoming a doula has been so rewarding and I feel honoured when I am invited into a families home to support them all at such a special time of their lives.

  • I completed the Nurturing Birth Doula Preparation Course in February 2015 and the DoulaUK post-natal recognition process in July 2017. I attended a Introductory Breastfeeding Study Day with Indira Lopez-Bassols in April 2015 and a St Johns Ambulance Paediatric First Aid course in May 2016.
