  • I believe in evidence-based practices during pregnancy, labor, and after birth. My goal is not to persuade you to have a certain experience but to ensure you have been given the adequate resources and time to make informed decisions. I believe on-going consent and bodily autonomy are essential to a positive birth experience. If you feel in control, confident in your abilities, and empowered to make decisions, I will consider my job done!

  • About Me:

My journey to becoming a doula started 10 years ago when I was first introduced to the reproductive justice movement at university. I learned about challenges women face all over the world regarding access to contraception, prenatal care, medical assistance during birth, and postnatal support. As a young woman, I was hooked.

After working in the business sector for nearly 10 years, I decided my heart and soul belonged in the reproductive health world. I quit my corporate job. I traveled for almost a year around the Middle East, Europe, and Southeast Asia. And then, I touched down in London.

Simply put, I am committed to supporting and empowering women. Whether that’s during your pregnancy or labor or after your baby has arrived, I want to give you the tools to feel confident in yourself.

  • I've received doula training in two countries - the US and the UK.

I was trained to be a doula in the US by a DONA-certified doula in November 2014 and by Doula-UK certified Nurturing Birth with Sophie Brigstocke in 2016.

I was certified in Paediatric First Aid in October 2016 by Babyem (Ofsted and CSSIW compliant).

Completed “Babies in Mind”, an online course from the University of Warwick, on how parents and caregivers influence children's minds, from conception through infancy.

IPEN - Placenta Encapsulation Specialist certified January 2017.

Ecole Azenday in Paris, France - Pregnancy Massage course, February 2017.

Midwifery Assistant Workshop at The Farm in Tennessee, February 2017.

Baby Massage Teacher Training with Peter Walker at Babyem, March 2017.

In 2008, I graduated from Pomona College in Claremont, California with a Bachelor’s in Psychology.
