  • About Me:

My name is Chloe Ballu I am French (London based) and mother of 2 young children.

My journey as a doula began together with my journey into motherhood: loving, nurturing, caring (and self-caring), trusting, letting go, researching, constantly learning….

Before my first pregnancy, I had no idea birthing could be so wonderful, I though breastfeeding was not for me, and I had all sorts of idea about my parenting style…
And then pregnancy happened, life changing readings, encounter with a magnificent Doula Liliana Lammers, becoming a mother… and since I feel blessed having had such empowering experiences (which had its challenges too, or course), and a became fascinated by this experience, and the power of support in such circumstances.

Inspired by this wave of powerful feelings as a new mother I found myself drawn into Douling.
Naturally I stayed in touch with Liliana who happens to work very closely with Michel Odent, and after 8 months into motherhood, I attended their “PARAMANA DOULA COURSE”…
One other child and 2 years later… I completed the “NURTURING BIRTH” course.
I am currently a Nurturing Birth mentored Doula, meaning that I have ongoing pier support, debrief and reviews with an experience doula as part of my practice.

I am offering Birth and Post-natal services to any London based families (or families to be): Offering unconditional respect, love and kindness to anyone needing /wanting it.
My aim as a Doula is to be support new or families to let go of any practical or emotional concern(s) in order to create their own safe place and strong mind set.
My aim is to help my clients to touch base and express any thoughts, feelings, needs or wishes, they need to process or to get support with to become confident and fulfilled parents.
    That means:
    - I listen to the mother to be (and the co-parent).
    - I can help clients to make informed choices by sign posting research based information for birth plan and postnatal care.
    - I work with an open mind.
    - l work towards protecting my client s choices and intimacy.
    - I can be hands off, or hands on.

I am fascinated to hear about people and their experiences of becoming parents… As well as staying informed on new research.

I am looking forward to hearing from you.
