  • I provide practical and emotional support throughout pregnancy, labour & birth, and the precious weeks that follow.

  • About Me:

I live in Hamphire with my husband and two young children, and I came to doulaing around 4 years ago. After a lifetime of feeling the pull towards birth work and a need to support women through the transformation into motherhood, it was my own birth experiences that finally 'flipped the switch' and lead me to pursue my dream of working in this field.

I have supported many, many wonderful families through their birth experiences - from hands-off home water births to beautiful elective caesareans, and every scenario in between! Feeling held and supported, and knowing that the team that you have assembled around you have unwavering faith in the process, allowing you to remain in control, are the foundations for a positive and empowering birth experience.

As your birth doula, I can facilitate this by working with you antenatally to help to prepare you physically, emotionally and practically for your labour and birth, as well as being present throughout to support you and your partner as things unfold.

Postnatally, I can help with feeding support, extra hands to help with caring for your baby and caring for you - keeping you rested and nourished, as well as helping with light chores and older siblings.

  • I trained with Nurturing birth in 2013, and I have since become a recognised doula with Doula UK.

I have supported around 30 families though their birth experiences, and have worked with many families as a postnatal doula. I have lots of experience of working with multiples (twins and triplets), but I have slotted into families with many and varying dynamics!

I am also a doula mentor for Nurturing Birth, supporting new and aspiring doulas through the first year or so of their journey.
