More Info
  • Devondoula – I provide antenatal, birth and postnatal doula services, including a bespoke birth reflection service. I am also available to support parents who have experienced, or who are facing baby loss.
I work with local doula colleagues, and actively seek to develop networks with other birth and postnatal services/support workers in North Devon to improve the services available to new parents.

  • About Me:

I am Hilary Pengelly; I grew up in North Devon, returning to live here in 2014. I am a mother, and a grandmother. I am passionate about all things relating to pregnancy and birth, and the fourth trimester, particularly postnatal issues like supporting breastfeeding and the transition to motherhood/parenthood. I am also willing to support women who may experience baby loss, either planned or unplanned. I am committed to developing effective local networks with colleagues working with pregnant women and their partners, and those supporting new mothers/parents with breastfeeding.

  • Doula certification through Doula UK - Paramana Doula training course January 2014
ABM Supporting the Breastfeeding Mother and Baby - Foundation level August 2015
Birth Doula Recognition status (Doula UK) December 2016
