As a Birth Doula I can offer you

I am in absolute awe of pregnancy and birth. As your Doula I will ensure that you are comfortable, informed, listened to and empowered. I think it is important for every woman to have a positive birth experience. I am there for you and your partner, whatever you may need or want during this amazing experience. I will support you in the decisions you make, the location you choose to birth and no matter how you birth (C-Section or Vaginal). Taking time to think about your birth is something we will do during your pregnancy. Whatever choices you make for birthing your baby I will support you with. I am a good listener, you can talk to me in confidence about anything and I don’t make judgements. I want you to know that I will try to make your birth experience as special as I can, even little suggestions such as taking photos/filming, encouraging skin to skin with baby, suggesting you take little keepsakes such as tape measure or scissors from cutting the cord to what you wish to do with the placenta. I am there for you, to serve you and I am honoured to be part of your birthing Journey.

As a Post Natal Doula I can offer you

The days and weeks that follow birth can be a overwhelmingly very busy time especially if you have other children as school runs never stop and children still need to play and eat. Following birth is a time when women should be cared for encouraged to rest and as your Doula I can be there for you as often or as little as you need me. I can offer you and your family practical and emotional support. There is no set criteria as to what I can or cannot do for you. Ideally we will discuss in advance how I can help support you though these early days. However things change and your needs may change so it is important for us to be open and honest. Support can be offered to you during days or nights. The most important thing is for you to feel positive and happy about being home with baby and settling into a routine that suits your family.

I am pro-choice in terms of Breast or Bottle feeding. I will support your choice and ensure you feel supported with however you decide to feed your baby.

You will be at the centre of the support I offer, I am there to serve you anyway you wish. Please contact me if you would like to discuss things further. x

  • About Me:

Hi, thank you for wanting to find out more about me. I am a mom to 4 gorgeous children, Esmie (10), Harrison (8), Effie (4) and Eina (6 mths) and I love every second of being their mom. After having Eina I knew the time was right for me to become a Doula. Through each pregnancy I have felt more empowered each time and confident to have the birth I desire and challenge care providers when I have needed too. I have experienced issues round fertility and I understand the anxieties that occur in pregnancy with this. I have had 4 vaginal births, 2 were in hospital and 2 were in Midwifery led units ~ all were different experiences in terms of the birth itself and the care I received. Birth is special and an experience that stays with you forever and on that you will share time and time again.

I have been a birth companion for 3 friends, each were all different, their needs being a VBAC (Vaginal birth after Caesarean), needing to be induced, gestational diabetes, having an epidural, first baby and I was as active as they wanted me to be.
