Personal Introduction:

For my age I have experienced and overcome some significant challenges, such as open heart surgery, which have made me realize the importance of grabbing every opportunity when it presents itself. I want to use my experiences to empower people and help them fly, rather than allowing adversity to clip their wings. I believe choice should unequivocally be in every part of your journey and a large part of my work is to ensure your voice is heard and your questions are answered.

I am currently living in London although I grew up in West Sussex, and often go home. I am a huge animal lover, energetic, understanding and a non – judgmental individual that will give you confidence in your many amazing abilities. I have previously worked with midwives and surgeons and have had the privilege to attend many births and caesareans in the UK and in Morogoro, Tanzania. Having previously worked in hospitals, and in care, not only am I familiar with working under pressure but also able to realise that we are human, and things don’t always go to plan – especially babies! This being said, I want to be a support for the entire family and help you in whatever way you may need.

I think pregnancy and birth is one of the most unique and memorable experiences you can go through, and I would be honoured to join and support you throughout! x

"Tilly felt like family as soon as she walked through the door. Her support was totally invaluable. During late pregnancy she was a sounding board for all my concerns and she offered so many practical solutions. During the post natal period she has been a constant support, no task is too big or small and she has always been extremely thoughtful and understanding in her care for not only myself and our little girl but also my husband during this transition period. She has been an absolute joy to have around and I couldn’t imagine the last 4 months without her. We are eternally grateful for our healthy little girl and so thankful that Tilly helped us on the journey to where we are now." - Rosie (1st baby)

"I'm so pleased I hired Tilly as our postpartum doula. Tilly had a smile on her face every morning and always lifted my mood. She was the busy second pair of hands that I needed so much, particularly during the first few weeks, from soothing my baby to sleep while I had a hot shower, to bringing me much needed hot teas, baking goodies, the occasional dog walk and so much more. I don't know how I would have coped without her, for anyone considering a doula I would highly recommend Tilly" - Cecily (2nd baby)
