Daisy June White

Hi! I’m Daisy June, a new birth and postnatal doula in Cornwall. I would be delighted to help you have THE BEST birth experience for you and will support you unconditionally if you choose me as your doula.

As new doula, I am currently charging much less than other more experienced doulas in my area.

I am a Christian and I believe that Jesus is absolutely the best friend and saviour anyone could have. He loves you so much and I pray that he will use me to bless YOU as my client in a really special way.

I am more than willing to pray with or for any of my clients, but, if you’d prefer not, that’s totally fine; I’m not going to force it on you! 🙂

I have been home-schooled and am the eldest of seven children, so I have plenty of experience looking after babies and young children (and doing chores!).

I am willing to offer babysitting services alongside doulaing for you if that is helpful. I love baking, singing, swimming, walking, knitting, crocheting and playing with young children. I also love music and enjoy playing and teaching the flute and piano.

Why I am a doula
After I turned sixteen, I was thinking seriously about midwifery, because I love big families and want to have lots of children of my own one day, so I wanted to have experience in the birth world beforehand.

Then a friend suggested I look into the doula role and as I researched it, I realised that it fitted me so much better than being a midwife! Midwives are great, but they can’t give one-on-one care for every woman because they have so many to look after.

As your doula, YOU are my number one priority. That’s what I love about doulaing. I get to build up a really deep relationship with my clients and then support them through one of the biggest things that they can ever do – give birth. Plus, I get to see loads of babies. Yay!

As your birth doula:
– I will visit you two or more times during your pregnancy to help you prepare for birth and to build up a relationship of trust with you

– I will be on call (ready to come when you give birth, day or night) from 37 weeks of pregnancy until the baby is born

– I will support you during labour and birth

– I will visit you one or more times after your baby is born.

As your postnatal doula:
I will visit you as many times as you need for an hourly rate to help you in the early days and weeks with your new baby.
