I’m Bea, a birth and post natal doula based in Tunbridge Wells.
I believe every woman deserves to experience a birth that empowers them, makes them proud of their body and confident as a mother – to have a positive birth story whether that’s an elective caesarean or a drug free water birth at home, whether it goes to plan or not you can come away with memories to cherish if you are informed, heard and validated.
Those precious early days and weeks, the fourth trimester, are moments to be treasured – I can help you to create and protect that bubble, to make the most of that special time.
Mum to two little ones, a daughter (my eldest) and a son. My births weren’t perfect, didn’t go completely to plan, and the 4th trimester wasn’t without its challenges, but I had the right support team around me and it was a transformative, defining experience, the memories make my heart glow and I want to help others to experience this.
I can provide physical, emotional, educational and practical support and I can also offer some services remotely.

”We are so grateful for all your support and help.
You have been such a major part of this insane journey. You made a huge difference to the early days, taking the pressure off so we can enjoy xxx and xxx as much as possible. I cannot thank you enough for all your support.
It was really important to us to have somebody that would just fit in with the family, somebody that I would feel comfortable around after having just given birth, somebody that I would relate to and find easy to be around. You were so personable, so supportive and so caring - it’s been so easy.
I honestly don’t know what we will do without you, we already miss you.
I just cannot express what it means to be able to breastfeed, I am so ecstatically happy and honestly could not have done this without you.
I am loving breastfeeding, thank you for the reassurance“ HANNAH - SECOND TIME MUM
"Bea was an incredible support throughout my pregnancy and on the day I went into labour. In the lead up to my birth Bea passed on a lot of really useful advice and tips that helped me to get into a mindset where I fully understood and believed in my bodies ability to give birth and gave me so much confidence about labour and all the eventualities or decisions I may have to make. I went from being terrified of giving birth, to actually looking forward to the experience that awaited me and my partner. she was the first person I reached out to the day I went into labour, she helped to manage my expectations and reset the mindset that would see me go on to have an extremely positive and empowering birth experience, with very little pain relief. Forever grateful to have had her wise words, knowledge and belief in me throughout" LYNSEY - FIRST TIME MUM
“I hadn't thought much about a birth plan as I wasn't sure (due to a medical condition) whether I would need a planned caesarean. Talking through my concerns about a caesarean with Bea was really helpful and she encouraged me to create a plan for a vaginal birth and a separate plan for a caesarean birth. Bea talked me through points to consider including pros and cons and answered my specific questions thoroughly. I now feel much more confident putting a birth plan down in writing - thank you!” - EMILY - SECOND TIME MUM
“My second pregnancy and labour was hugely traumatic leaving me with antenatal anxiety and ptsd throughout my third pregnancy. Bea listened, supported, advised and metaphorically held my hand through one of the darkest periods of my life. She used up to date medical research and provided me with all of my choices as I approached an induction with my third baby. I would recommend Doula Bea to any pregnant woman!“ - HANNAH - THIRD TIME MUM
