My name is Chantelle and I am a certified Birth & post-natal Doula based in Southampton. I am also a wife and a mother to two inspiring beautiful girls.
Birth and parent well-being is something that I have been extremely passionate about, since having my first child. I learnt that becoming a new parent can be extremely overwhelming at times. All the information you are given from others, whether it be friends, family or health professionals, can at times engulf you with fear or leave you feeling bewildered. It can be hard to know if any of it is evidence based, or is it just personal experience? This then makes it difficult trying to decide what the right thing is to do, for you and your family. This is what I want to help alleviate and make this experience as easy and pain free (Physically and mentally) as we possibly can.
I strongly believe that everyone should be able to reach out and access additional birth and post-natal support, whether that be arming yourself with knowledge, more support in labour for you or your partner, or an additional helping hand in those first testing and tiring weeks.

Certified Birth & Post-natal Doula
Trained breastfeeding peer Supporter
When I reflect back on my breastfeeding journey, I can whole heartedly say that I wouldn’t have made it past the first couple of weeks without Chantelle’s kind and patient support. Breastfeeding is something I felt passionate about doing, however it really didn’t come naturally to me and my son, an experience that I now understand many women go through. Chantelle’s tips, suggestions and reassurance during those first few weeks helped me be able to successfully breastfeed for 9 months.
Her expertise wasn’t just limited to breastfeeding, she was consistently helpful during my pregnancy and helped me better understand my choices when my birth plan didn’t go to plan and I needed a c-section.
I cannot recommend Chantelle enough!
Where do I even start?! My breastfeeding journey hasn't always been an easy one. My son lost a lot of birth weight, was jaundiced and had a tongue tie that wasn't picked up for 4 weeks. I can say with complete confidence that I would have given up breastfeeding at some point in those first few weeks if it wasn't for Chantelle's help. Whether it was technical questions about expressing, dealing with a painful latch, tips for clearing blocked ducts, or just emotional support every time I had crippling anxiety that I wasn't producing enough milk - she was there! I'm now 10 months in, and honestly don't think I'd have got here without her. She also gave me tonnes of practical information around weaning, and helped when I was battling with my GP to get help for Arlo's reflux. Chantlelle's knowledge, empathy and passion is phenomenal. I cannot recommend her enough!
