Hello! I’m Mel
I’m a rainbow-haired, pajama-loving Mama to a fur- and human-baby.

I am a birth doula living near Chichester, West Sussex with my partner, our gorgeous son and Ted the cat.
It was my own pregnancy and preparing for birth that led me down this route. I fell in love with the birth world and am invested now about supporting birthing people to prepare for and protect the birth they envisage.
I am passionate about women’s rights, racial equality, LGBT+ issues amongst other things.
My goals as a Doula are to empower birthers and help to alleviate any fear they may have but also to nurture them and their partners in the time leading up to and following birth.
I’m going to be starting out by offering positive birth preparation sessions and post-natal doula packages but I am hoping to be able to commit to births in the future.
