Personal Introduction:
My name is Sophie and I am a Birth and Postnatal Doula in
Buckinghamshire. I also cover parts of Oxfordshire, Berkshire and Hertfordshire.
I love building a relationship with birth clients, helping them find information so they can make informed choices about their birth. Antenatal sessions include birth physiology, rights in childbirth, where you would like to birth, feeding, and plenty more!
As a Postnatal Doula I will help you in those first days and weeks of parenthood to find your feet and to grow in confidence. I will listen with a gentle, non judgemental ear over a cup of tea, hold a baby....or hold a parent as I know the postnatal period can sometimes feel overwhelming. I'm happy to do some shopping, cooking, laundry or light housework while you recover from the birth of your baby.
I will support every birthing person/ family with calm positivity, helping you feel nurtured, empowered and listened to throughout your pregnancy, labour and postnatal period.
I’m also a Norland Nanny with 26 years experience and have worked with many families from birth. I combined that with working part time as a Teaching Assistant in Reception.
