Personal Introduction:

Ever since I was a young girl, I have had a love for children and a passion for supporting families. In my early twenties, I began working as a nanny and quickly discovered that caring for little ones was my calling. I had a natural ability to connect with children and form strong bonds with their families, and I loved nothing more than being a source of comfort and support to parents during their parenting journey.

The birth of my first child, however, was a turning point in my life. He was born prematurely, and the experience of navigating the complex medical system and caring for our fragile newborn was both overwhelming and transformative.

Despite the challenges, I was amazed by the strength and resilience of my own mothering instincts, and I realised the incredible power of love and care in helping families through the ups and downs of parenthood.

With my newfound perspective and experience, I threw myself into my work as a postnatal doula after training with Nurturing Birth with renewed passion and dedication.

I used my skills and experience to provide families with the support and care they need to navigate the postpartum period with confidence and joy. And with each family I serve, I am reminded of the incredible impact that a little love and support can have on someone’s life.

In the last year I have completed my training as a mindful breastfeeding practitioner, have spent many hours volunteering at a sling library and also completed my pregnancy yoga, mother and baby yoga and baby massage training.

My offerings include:

*Baby feeding support
*Emotional support – includes debriefing birth.
*Light housework
*Babywearing support
*Preparing you delicious and nutritious meals and snacks – I have menus to choose from.
*Running errands or coming along to appointments
*Holding the baby for you whilst you take some time to sleep/have a bath
*Signposting you further
*Rebirthing ceremony
*One on one Mum and Baby yoga/ Baby massage courses

As a postnatal doula, I believe that the 4th trimester should be spent with the mother feeling rested and well supported. I do this by feeding the mother with nutrition delicious food and being a safe space for her.

I wholeheartedly believe that everyone deserves a beautiful postpartum period, and I am committed to helping you achieve that.
