We decided to hire a doula as we have no practical family support, and being my third baby we needed an extra pair of hands whilst I recovered from a difficult birth.Holly is very caring and she always checks in to see how me and the family are, and how I'm feeling. She always asked on the day of a visit if we need anything and discussed how she can support us the best she can. Holly was very hands on with my older children when needed, which is one thing I didn't expect, but they loved her and it was a great help. She held my baby when I showered or had to do something else, which meant my newborn was well looked after.
Holly supported us all at a difficult time, including my older children and even making my husbands lunch to free him up some time.
We got on really well, which has made it feel like having a family member here with me.

C M, East Sussex.
