Personal Introduction:

Hello my name is Leanne, I am a birth and postnatal doula. I live in a small village in Nottinghamshire with my husband, three children and my Mum lives with us also, it’s a busy house!
I am so pleased that you are considering having a doula, a decision I am sure you will not regret.

As a birth doula I am here to guide and nurture you through the incredible journey of childbirth. With a deep passion for empowering parents and a wealth of experience, I am committed to ensuring your birthing experience is filled with warmth, care, and confidence. I offer unwavering emotional support, evidence-based information, and comfort techniques to help you and your partner navigate the beautiful process of bringing new life into the world. Together, we can create a birthing plan that aligns with your desires and values.

As a postnatal doula I am here to ensure your transition into parenthood is filled with comfort, confidence, and care. The journey of becoming a parent is a transformative one, and my aim is to be your steadfast companion through this incredible chapter of your life. I offer a nurturing presence, practical assistance and a wealth of knowledge to help you navigate the joys and challenges of postpartum life. My goal is to empower you with the tools and support that you need to thrive during this precious time. From easing the transition into parenthood to offering guidance on newborn care and breastfeeding. I am here to provide a listening ear, a helping hand, and a reassuring presence.

A little bit about me.
I am a Paediatric Nurse and I have worked in the NHS for over 20years! The majority of this time in intensive care both paediatric and neonatal with a specialism in palliative and bereavement care.
I have always had an affinity with all things birthy, babies and children and I have spent many years nurturing families through some of their most stressful times. I have had three very different experiences of birth which has proved to add to the valuable knowledge that I already had.
Most importantly through extensive experience I can see the power that can be created when women support women….IT IS MEGA!

Some fun facts about me.
I met my husband at a wedding……he was the Best Man and I was a bridesmaid!….Movie cliché
We travelled for a year together pre marriage and kids…….feels like a different life!
I love food, wine, a good laugh and spending time with great company.
