About Me
My name is Lisa and I am a doula and Doula Mentor with Nurturing Birth. I have been a doula since 2010 and have supported dozens of families on their journey to parenthood.
I am a Doula Mentor with Nurturing Birth and helped run the European Doula Network for 4 years. I created Home Birthers & Hopefuls and the Birth Positively preparation course and have spent time working in the refugee camps of Greece. I’m originally from the Yorkshire in the UK , spent 5 years living in the French speaking part of Switzerland, 2 years in Dubai and will be taking clients in Paris where I will live with my husband and children from summer 2021.
I’ve supported LGBTQ+ parents, home births, VBAC, waterbirth, birth after loss, IVF pregnancy, planned c section and even birth onboard a boat!
As for when I’m not doulaing, I’m an animal lover and rescuer, a runner, cyclist, slow triathlete, Crossfit bore and am completely obsessed with dogs!
