Personal Introduction:
I, Mafalda, and I'm a birth and postnatal doula based in Lisbon, Portugal.
Passionate about pregnancy, birth, the postnatal period, breastfeeding and everything in between.
Becoming a mother in 2020 changed a lot about how I view life and childhood. I believe in informed decisions and positive experiences and would be happy to walk by your side in your journey to parenthood.
As well as being a birth and postnatal doula, I also offer breastfeeding support. I have attended Supporting Every Birth, Nurturing Birth's workshop on loss.

Qualifications:
I finished the expansive Nurturing Birth doula course in January 2022 and attended Michelle every's "Supporting every birth" workshop dealing with loss.
I have two Montessori Assistant certifications in the age groups of 0-6y that really helped pave the way of how I view childhood.
I have also done 3 different breastfeeding courses and am currently taking a perinatal education course to further solidify acquired information.

All Nurturing Birth doulas have completed our approved preparation course and adhere to the Nurturing Birth code of ethics.
