Personal Introduction:
My name is Rebecca and I live in the small town of Magherafelt in Northern Ireland.
I'm a pregnancy, birth and postnatal doula covering the Mid Ulster Area for home and hospital births.
I have a 4-year-old daughter called Cadhla and one sibling who has made me an auntie to one niece and four nephews, one of which who will be forever four.
My daughter and I enjoying spending time at the beach, walks in the woods and time with my parents.
I trained with Nurturing Birth in 2022 attending one of their expansive courses in Winchester. From wanting to be a midwife from a very early age, however following the path of a family business, I never followed my dream. After the unexpected breakdown of my relationship while heavily pregnant, I faced the later stages of pregnancy, birth and my postpartum period with little support. During my postpartum period I came across a Nurturing Birth post on social media and the doula in me was born. Knowing I never want another mother to not feel supported, my dream and passionate is with ensuring birthing people know they have choices and for me to support them with those choices they make.
